Keep the faith all of you

I also to have two kiddos and my wife travels 90% of the time. It kills me that my kids ask me why are you hurting or why cant you ride your bike with me? I just pretend i am ok most of the time. I also have to help with thier homework which is a challenge due to my Asperger syndrome/Dyslexia issue. Takes me 3 hours to do 3rd grade work. Man they sure do give those kids word problems that throw me through a loop!

Hang in there people. Keep the faith. Its not easy but we all have to get there some how...healed up.

Best regards
Bernard

Do you have your own thread Bernard? I have a few questions and we shouldn't hijack Lars' thread...
You and your family looks so sweet :) ...I know you hate having this fissure and what it does for your family life....don't we all Image
Do you have mild form of Aspergers?
How much pain do you have? BM pain or pain the whole day? How long have you had your fissure? LIS? Botox? How are you able to work with this?

Well a little update. I have started bleeding from the fissure again the last two days.
Red streaks of blood on the bms`s... Even my underwear was full of blood 6 hours after the bm... I have never had this before so it scares the shit out of me. I am sure the fissure has reopened. So far the pain has not gotten any worse than it already is.
Still waiting for a date for my biopsi...

I think, maybe, since your fissure was so large your post LIS bleeding can be heavier than someone like me; I had a smaller fissure so I had smaller amounts of blood as my fissure healed.
BUT I still had blood semi-regularly for six months after LIS and even a year afterward I still saw traces of blood after a hard BM.
And your pain levels haven't resumed, so the signs are still good and in your favor, Lars. Just keep in mind how large your fissure was and how long it really takes for it to heal completely -- a year or longer. In your case, somewhat longer no doubt.
But you have made incredible progress!

Good luck, Lars (stud muffin). Image You need to get that expletive (bad word) fissure healed and get out in the dating scene. Sending you healing vibs across the pond. I'll ask Dwight to start praying for you. I hope you can have your biopsy soon. Image

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Image !!!!! I am soooo sorry buddy Image - it is maddening and frustrating to the max Image :( Image !!! Can you go to the doctor and check your "butty"??? I wish he/she can look inside and visually inspect what is going on ! Is it a laceration (fissure) or again ulcer-like "entity" Image ?!? Bleeding by itself does not have to be terrible sign , but it would make me nervous - that is for sure !!! Did you look at your anus ? Do you see anything outside buddy ??? Any hemmy or something ? Once my skin tag was actually bleeding Image - not a fissure - yes, my friend, butts can find the craziest ways to make us go berserk !!! Image At least your pain is not bigger (knock on the wood  ) , and that is very important Image !!! It means that there is no infection or such. I know it is hard not to be upset - who would not be Image ??? Try to concentrate to low pain level and take some rest and make your poop ultra soft for a week or so and I am sure it will calm down Image ! I can not believe they still do not have biopsy results - what the heck Image
Please do not be scared , dear Lars- you have been through so much with your behind, that there is NOTHING you can not deal with - absolutely nothing !!!! Even if it IS inflammation, there are so many meds that can help with that aspect - I am sure you will find the right one as soon as you know what are you dealing with ! Knowing the right diagnosis is a half battle won !!!!!! Image
Let us know what is going on and stay strong - as you are !!!!
Wishing you fast healing :thinkofyou: Image :nevergive:

i know i've been out of the loop for a while, Lars, but have you had LIS yet?
I was getting increasingly worse until LIS. not even anti-biotics helped until I got the LIS.
I hope you get your appointment soon and that all turns out well.
