JHH says
Im pretty good, but it would be nice to loose all those small sensations, and irritation, that keeps reminding me things are still not normal.

Tell you what JHH, you keep pushing out bristol 5-6 for a few more months or so; see if those sensations stick around. Patience patience patience, those "little devils" may test the hell out of you for the next several months or so.
They are trying desperately to hang on to you. Its like when you slay a large dinosaur and it takes him a long time to die, you keep seeing small movements as he's agonizing in death. This is what may be going on with you now.
Your dying fissures are just waiting for you to do something to revive them back to life e.g. that pizza incident. And they're betting you do not have the patience to hold out until your fully healed.
But we know you will prove them wrong, right JHH. Again from all of us here we say to you.....
Patience patience pateince.....

I sure hope you are right buttastic, amd thanks for the support!
Day 44
Todays BM was bristol 5-6 and painless. But its like Im sliding downhill, cause I have more post BM irritation, and today also a little pain. I dont understand why, since my BMs have been painless for quite some time now. I also feel tighter when I apply ointments, so maybe botox is wearing off?

I'm feeling your pain J. What is it with healing that you get such a dramatic fall in pain and then a intermittent discomfort for the duration. Does Botox only last just over a month? That would be highly disadvantageous for a 8-10 weeks healing process.
Today I felt that discomfort from 10 days ago. My pooper is a little distressed, not enough for me to have cause for concern about a retear, but a concern about why it's a little tender after 10 consecutive days of totes amaze poops.
Frustrating eh. I'm with you every step of the way J.
Chin up for me.

Hmm, yes I could list it, but what works for me, might not work for you. I eat almost only souble fibers, since just a small amount of insouble adds too much bulk to my stools. Besides, I eat the same day in and day out, and its not recommendable, but I dont care right now.

Splinter I chew my food very very very well. Drink loads of water. Take 3 movicols, one with every meal. Have wheatabix with flaxseed and chopped fruit in the morning. I eat chicken mainly and brown rice. Broccoli, cucumber. Houmous and brown pittas. Prunes and pears for snacks.
Mainly it's the water, chewing and movicols that help me.
Stay away from fast food. No white bread or white rice. No crisps. No fried foods or processed food.
Avoid too much fibre, this will bulk up your stools.
Hope that helps.
How you doing today JHH?

Ah yes there it is. Silly me. Painless BMs are such a positive feeling but what's with the irritation? I'm exactly the same. For about an hour after. With a random itch.
I wonder what it is? It's like a pressure for me. Could be the blood flow to the area and it being all confused and sensitive.
Good to hear you're not in any pain.
