Well, I have had 2 BMs today, and second one was hard...slow moving. Pain on left side, but I guess it's as expected since they cut on that side?
I have to cut back on painkillers now since stomach have had enough, don't know if I can/will take more. Ibux is worse than Paracetamol isn't it?
I take baths, keep the area dry and clean...and try to be patient - again!
I am a bit fed up with this fissure life, but I can be as fed us as I want...things will still be the same and I know it will take some time to heal :)
Still very happy and grateful I was able to have the surgery...

Is your sore throat gone? You would be in a worse mood if you had the surgery postponed! Did you have a fever when he did the surgery???

I know the second bm for me is always worse because I have had the initial scraping from the first. Ibux is harder on your stomach than paracetemol but tends to work better on pain. Do you feel like you are ready to give up the narcotics? I wonder if you could ask about tramadol. Dazzy was taking that and I have used it to. It is non-narcotic but a bit stronger than what you are using.
Surgery sucks. You have to get worse before you get better but you now at least have a butt that is more conducive to healing. I wish I could speed up time for you!
