Hi Rachel. How are you? I'm in the same boat. In pain and waiting. Praying there is a cure for us.

Hopefulbutt, What is your next plan of action and when do you see your CRS? I was hoping they would figure something out for you really soon.

Hi all, thank you for thinking of me.

Well, I have a follow up appointment on the 12th March. Waiting again... I've been having a good run, was coping okay back at work, only doing 3 days. Today has been bad though, pain all day, knife sharp pains. Felt it scrape in BM on the left.
I plummet straight back into that black hole when it's this bad, and it's made worse when I've had better days.

Sigh....... I don't think I'm ever going to have a normal bottom!

My heart breaks for you and I totally understand how having good days seem to make a bad one worse. But if you've had some better days recently, this could just be a temporary glitch and tomorrow might bring you back into the sunshine.

I think that we all wonder if we'll ever have a normal bottom again, but I guess that it's best to hope that we will!

Glad you had a good run for a while, its nice to have a break from all that dreadful pain but I know how disheartening when it ends. Hope things go well on your March 12th appointment. I am having a EUA tomorrow - what the outcome will be I do not know.

Sorry to hear the struggle continues Rachael. Thanks for updating us. I know what you mean by the better days making the bad ones seem worse. On the good days I get my hopes up and start making plans but then it all comes crashing down. This new giant fissure the CRS has made for me (to deal with the recurring infection) has made things worse than ever! I'm not even sure if maybe my fissure is back too! Now I don't know what to do.

It's great that you have been able to work. Must be good to get your mind off things for a while and feel more 'normal'

I'll be rooting for you on the 12th. Seems like your health system is a lot like ours, wait and wait and wait again...

Thank you for telling us your story. I just had surgery and am freaking because BM's are really hard, small and painful.
Plus the pain is still through the roof and I am running out of percoset.

Rachel and mnsimon how are you all doing? I'm up and down. I postponed my botox from March to April as I wanted to go visit my sister and try and give my bum some time. Not sure how it is possible to feel loose and then have a bm and feel pain and tightness again. Cream makes it burn still inside and diarrhea is a death poop for me. If I can keep bms perfect then I'm not so bad. As of right now I have botox scheduled for April 7th. Honestly don't none of I should- both times I've had botox and during both my lis I tore. My crs can't figure out why I twar so easily and so much. What if I botox and end up worse than I am again? Grrrr. What about all of you? I kind of want to ask for manometery but I'm not sure. My abscess hole is almost healed up and causes no pain- but that wretches fissure does! Hope you all have better updates!
