Hi Missy,
Yes, I'm the mama moving overseas this summer! This is my second child, a boy :-) And I agree. I really think that all the pressure from the baby has caused my issues "down there". I didn't have any issues during my first pregnancy but had to push a lot when delivering my daughter and ended up with terrible hems and a fissure. It's a shame that childbirth wrecks our bodies so much! And I'd like to give it time to see if it heals without the baby there, but we're moving to Indonesia where there will not be the best healthcare so I feel pressured to get this fixed before we move. It's a really tough situation!
As far as the blood during your BM, I think it's a great sign that your pain has decreased. I suppose blood must mean that the fissure is not entirely healed yet? Is it a lot of blood? Or blood on the stool? The botox must have made your sphincter muscle looser though so I bet you're getting better blood flow now to the region which should help healing. Have you been able to look at the fissure recently to see if it looks smaller or healing?
