Week 13, no pain on BM. Last few days have been good. No real pain. I am worried, Botox is running out... 3 month deadline. Now I have been called in to see the doctor tomorrow. I had a blood test for coeliac disease and they want to see me. Yikes am I a coeliac? They normally just tell me over the phone if the results are clear. Have MRI next Thursday. I am feeling a little stressed about all of this now!

Deep breaths Racheal!
You've come so far and whatever lies ahead, you will deal with it OK. You've already shown such strength of character....Will be thinking of you tomorrow and hoping very much that everything is absolutely fine. It could be that the test didn't work or something went wrong their end....God, that happened to me once with a chest X-ray! I absolutely pooped myself when I got a call to go in and see them about 2 days after the test. Trust me, I thought that was it but turns out the X-ray hadn't worked properly or something!! I was fine! I will be thinking of you and please let us know how you get on or we'll all start worrying too!!!!

I just read up about coeliac disease, and I think I better get tested. Lots of those symptoms sound familiar...
Im crossing my fingers for you, but even if you have it, it doesnt look that bad to treat.
Let us know how it went!
- Fissure developed in Jan '13
- Started rectogesic in Feb '13 and diltiazem Apr '13.
- Got botox Jun '13
- Healed by Okt '13, although I still had some irritation for about a year.
- New fissure April '22, healed June 2022
- New fissure 24. December 2023

Hi everyone, Thank you so much for your support I love you all. I am not coeliac! The doc said that the other blood bit they test for which is the immune part was .1 over what it should be. She isn't worried about it. So glad.
JHH my dietician suggested I get tested, the symptoms can be very similar to IBS. Do it if you feel you want that ruling out, because it is best to get it diagnosed early apparently.
Good day again today, no pain. BM is good and my bottom almost, dare I say it..... Feels normal. Please let this carry on! Image
