Hi OMB,
Things are a bit better. This was a particularly bad re-tear. It's still really sore and uncomfortable. You know! I am hoping that I can get it under control again. It's the constant fear I'm finding hard to cope with...... I don't want to wake up and poo!
How's things with you? Xxxxx

Hi STOT,
I haven't had the appointment come through yet..... I'm still waiting. I will call the hospital tomorrow to see what's happening..
How are you feeling today? Still no BM..... Maybe the anaesthetic and the painkillers have constipated you slightly? Are you on stool softeners still? Can you eat prunes? They are normally quite good or up the dose of stool softener, just a little? Did the CRS advise anything after surgery? Xxx

I'm taking stool softeners, fiber, mineral oil and drinking tons of water. I'm sure the anesthesia and the 2 painkillers I took haven't helped. My CRS said I should take Milk of Magnesia tomorrow if I haven't gone yet. I've never taken that or eaten prunes due to my IBS. I have tried Miralax once so I might take that tonight if I don't go before bed. I definitely don't want to get diarrhea! Such a tricky thing.

No more painkillers though. Only ibuprofen from now on.

I hope your appointment comes through soon!

Ugh! I hope you feel better soon!
I know that I wish that they had given me the percocet during the glass/razor blade fissure pain than after surgery. The fissure pain was so terrible!
Hoping they are able to able!
