Hi all,
My appointment for the tests is next Tuesday. They called me today and told me..... Not looking forwards to it, but I need to move forwards. Haven't posted for a while as I've had Sinusitis. Rotten... Not as bad as Fissure pain though, and it is pretty awful!

Thanks J, good to see you're still checking in on us......
Thankyou STOT. Me too, I want to be off this hell ride. It's not good, I've had a re-tear and it's bad..... Really painful and I've been crying again. God knows how I'm going to cope today at the tests......

Hi all,
Back from the tests. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Crisis beforehand, I needed a BM. It was probably because I was nervous. Stinging hell, and i warned the nurse I might scream out. She was very good.... My muscle is intact, she said the resting pressure looks normal. So my question now is, can I have the LIS if my pressure is normal? Probably not... I'm scared I will just have to live with this. Agh. Has anyone had LIS with normal resting pressure? X

Good its over and you are OK R!

I don't think it's ideal to do LIS with normal pressure, but I'm sure your CRS will give you some more info.
But hey, there are other options, like flap. As I understand it, the healing rate is almost as good as with LIS.
Less chance of incontinence, but longer healingtime. You should look into this I think.

I also would like a course why you are not healing with normal pressure, have you had a colonoscopy?

Hi J,
I think you're right... I need to talk to the CRS.... I just want this hell sorted out. It's really taking its toll on me again. The difficult thing as well is every time they see me I have almost healed, then in between I re-tear. I can't understand it!
I had colonoscopy in sept 12 and it was confirmed I only have IBS. I also had a flexible sidioscopy when the first CRS did the Botox last April. Why can't I stay healed!? It's totally doing me in now after all this time! I just want to go and jump off a bridge again.... Let's see what happens when I see him.

:poop:  :~!@: :ashamed:

Hopefully your CRS can give you some more definite answers when you see him. Still praying for you!
