Rachel, I'm envisioning an Office Space copy machine style take down between you and your toilet. Hope you've seen the movie because the visual is classic.

lol Jbl! That's exactly what I would like to do to mine!

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. I have this overwhelming feeling of dread whenever I go into my bathroom, even when it's not BM time :(

Thanks all.... X

Thanks Roids, healing this incision is hard going..... Some days it feels okay, others not so good..... It's frustrating. Yes, I want to look at the wound, I did try, but then I was too scared of disturbing it.... I just saw bruising and soreness, couldn't see the incision without stretching more, which as you say isn't a good idea! How you doing? X

STOT there's about 15g in each sachet, I think. Lastnight I took 1 1/4 I was too scared just to take the one. The stool is too sludgy so it's causing irritation and I'm sure is more acidic.

JBL, haven't seen that film, will have to google it and look..... How funny! I'd bash it so hard into smitherrines! It wouldn't stand a chance..... Ha ha.

MS I can see what you mean, I'm actually going to move to a new house when I'm sorted, so I can make a new start with a new toilet....... Ha

Day 21

1 BM..... With a smaller second one..... No pain, still soft but more formed and less sludgy. Not too bad, incision is still sore, I'm sure when I walk it irritates it more, starts to ache then.....ugh. Only doing little bits and taking my time. I'm seeing improvements now, slowly.

Thanks lovely OMB x

Day 22

BM was too sludgy again.... Caused the incision to sting afterwards. Then pain at incision site. I feel like I'm going backwards. Had a good cry earlier, I can't get my stool right as to not aggravate the incision. It was fine pre surgery, suppose I didn't have an incision to heal back there then did I? Ugh. I feel like it's a constant ache and real niggly pain when I have a bad day.... I'm guessing the sludge is acidic. Trying 1 Movicol later instead, hoping this will be okay.

I pray lowering the dose of Movicol is the answer for you. It's such a tricky balance with IBS. Right there with you!!

Sorry to hear you keep struggling Rachael. :smilyhug:

I am often acidic too and don't know why but I think that milk of magnesia helps with this. Maybe something to try?

Hope things start to turn around for you real soon. :hugs:

Hi Rachael,

How long did it take for your incision site to heal. I am at 8 weeks and it's still open. My doctor put silver nitrate on it to see if that would help it. Ugh.. I am so over this..
