Hi HTD,
To be honest it wasn't half as bad as I expected and I'm wondering how painful it would have been if I hadn't been sat on my butt lol. The pain was there but not above a 5 for most of the time did edge towards a 6 near the end though but not as bad as the last time I went before my op when it went right up to a 7 and at the end of the day I felt like crying driving home.
I am sooooo excited I had a bit of curry last night and I didn't go to the loo I can't explain how good that was. To be fair on days when I don't visit the toilet it is really just a vague discomfort now. I will be interested to see how I feel after my next BM as I'm hoping there may be some improvement but won't get disappointed if not.
Oh no that's not good...does improvement continue after the first month of Botox...my CRS lead me to believe that how my spasms n BM,s were at week 4/5 would be the gauge for the next 3 months, hence why I'm hoping to see improvement in mine. I have also started a new cream that was recommended to me by someone on my crohns forum...it's from Europe so will let you know if it helps as she said it helped to heal her 3 fissures.
Do you get pain after each BM still and is it the stinging burning or the spasms....I don't like the stinging but like I keep saying to myself when compared to spasms the stinging I can live with and actually have a life...I really hope you start to see some more improvements and that you don't let this get you down...you gave helped me feel much better in this journey we are on.
Take care, hugs
